Prof. Dr. Al-Delawi Receives a Delegation from Al-Mustaqbal University to Discuss Managing Scientific Conference.
Among the perspective efforts to implement the terms of the MoU aimed at enhancing scientific relations, Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil, hosted a delegation from Al-Mustaqbal University. The delegation was led by Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Affairs at Al-Mustaqbal University.
The meeting focused on discussing strategies for managing the upcoming scientific conference and exploring avenues to strengthen collaboration between the two institutions.
In a meeting held on Tuesday, December 10 ,2024, in the presence of the Vice-President for Scientific Affairs at Cihan University-Erbil, the roadmap for implementing the points of the mutual agreement between the two institutions was discussed.
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Al-Delawi welcomed the visiting delegation and highlighted the steps for organizing a joint conference in the field of engineering, scheduled for February next year. It was also agreed that Cihan University-Erbil will visit Al-Mustaqbal University in the near future to further strengthen collaboration.
The discussions between the both parties also addressed the international ranking of the two universities, deciding to exchange information and data to benefit from each other’s experiences.
The head of the delegation from Al-Mustaqbal University expressed his honour in the agreement, stating: “The joint scientific conference will serve as a significant gateway to strengthening our relations and implementing the other points of the agreement.”
On June 5, 2024, during a formal ceremony, Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil, signed an agreement with Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Affairs at Al-Mustaqbal University. The agreement outlined several important initiatives, including conducting joint research, organizing seminars, workshops, and conferences, sharing experiences in various fields, and facilitating the exchange of teachers and students. These initiatives, along with many other significant topics, aim to strengthen the academic and scientific collaboration between the two academic institutions.
