Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Al Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil, Chairs a meeting with the Representatives of Several Foreign Universities.
On the sidelines of the 5th International Scientific Conference on Financial and Administration Sciences, hosted by Cihan University-Erbil in collaboration with Lodz University in Poland and Mosul University, Dr. Amjad Saber Al- Delawi, the President of Cihan University-Erbil, received representatives of several participating universities.
During the reception on Thursday, January 30, 2025, and with the presence of his assistants, Prof. Al- Delawi warmly greeted the visiting delegation, expressing his pleasure at their participation in the conference and their contributions through research presentations.
He then spoke about Cihan University-Erbil’s commitment to sustainable development, particularly in implementing the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He emphasized that addressing these goals is a priority for the university, which has developed strategic programs and is actively working toward their realization in a structured and organized manner and highlighted the importance of collaboration between universities to advance scientific research and exchange knowledge. He emphasized on the moving of Cihan University-Erbil toward internationally recognized institution by fostering joint research projects, facilitating student and faculty exchanges, and organizing conferences, workshops, and academic seminars across various disciplines.
During another part of the meeting, representatives from Lodz University in Poland, the American University in Jordan, Birmingham University in the UK, Qatar University, and other institutions participating in the 5th International Conference on Financial and Administration Sciences discussed various academic matters.
After expressing their appreciation for the opportunity to attend and contribute to the conference, the delegates highlighted the importance of strengthening and expanding future collaborations. They emphasized that these partnerships should go beyond academic and scientific research to address broader social and humanitarian needs, particularly in supporting sustainable development goals.
