Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil Sends New Year’s Message

Upon the 2025 new-year Occasion, Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil, addressed the university’s faculty, staff, students, and the wider community with his heartfelt congratulations. Reflecting on the accomplishments of the past year and looking ahead with optimism, he shares the university’s vision for continued progress and excellence in education, research, and societal engagement.
Prof. Dr. Al-Delawi highlighted the university’s remarkable achievements over the past year, emphasizing advancements in academics, education, research, and community service. Among these milestones, Cihan University-Erbil integrated the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into its curriculum, a step that aligns with global educational trends and demonstrates the university’s commitment to addressing local and global challenges.

Over 60 students were sent to leading universities worldwide, highlighting Cihan University-Erbil’s commitment to preparing its students for success on a global stage. Additionally, significant strides were made in enhancing campus infrastructure and introducing new academic departments to address the evolving needs of the community.
Dr. Al-Delawi expressed his deep gratitude to the university’s faculty and staff, whose tireless efforts and dedication made these achievements possible, as well as to the support from the university’s corporate partners. Looking forward to 2025, Dr. Al-Delawi reaffirmed the university’s commitment to fostering innovation and internationalization. “This year, we will redouble our efforts to enrich the student experience, emphasizing personal growth, academic excellence, and professional success across various fields,” he noted.
