Radiological Imaging Technology Department Students Visit the Malaika Al-Rahma Center

On Wednesday, February 12, 2025, as part of its commitment to enhancing applied education, the Radiological Imaging Technology department students at Cihan University-Erbil visited the Malaika Al-Rahma Center under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Abdul Aleem.

They were warmly received by Mr. Mohammed Kamel Abdul Rahman and he delivered an in-depth presentation on the latest imaging technologies used in disease diagnosis. The tour covered key radiologic modalities, including X-ray machines, CT scans, MRI, and ultrasound.

During the visit, students gained hands-on experience operating imaging devices and adjusting settings under the guidance of specialists. This interactive approach reinforced their understanding of theoretical concepts, enabling them to bridge the gap between classroom learning and clinical application. Additionally, they analyzed radiographic images on specialized screens, enhancing their ability to interpret medical scans and manage real-world clinical cases.

The visit also fostered engaging discussions between students, faculty members, and experts on the mechanisms of imaging devices and best practices in medical diagnostics. Students observed the differences between various imaging techniques and their accuracy in providing precise diagnoses.

At the end of the visit, students gathered for a group photo in front of Malaika Al-Rahma Center, expressing their appreciation for this valuable learning experience.
