Shakespearean Tragedy

On Monday,23 rd of November, 2015 second year students Feneck Merza and Norsi Yaseen delivered a power point presentation entitled `Shakespearean Tragedy` under the supervision of Assist. Lecturer  Salman Adel.The seminar was attended by the head of English and Translation departments  Dr.Imad Rifaat, a group of lecturers in addition to second year students.
The presentation included detailed information about Shakespearean Tragedy,external and internal conflict , catharsis and tragic flaw as main features in the Shakespearean Tragedies . The students also discussed the concept of  the tragic hero with examples from different plays. The attendance raised several questions related to the topic which was found interesting and informative.
