Sight Translation Oasis
Second-year students of Translation Department at Cihan University-Erbil held an educational activity entitled “Sight Translation Oasis” under the supervision of Lecturer, Imadin Maged Zannrni on Feb 24th, 2021. During the activity, students translated texts of varying length, difficulty, and duration, while applying appropriate techniques of simultaneous reading and reproduction.
They also managed time efficiently to do the task on time. The total number of translated words exceeded one hundred and twenty words per minute, and this is what makes the sophomores feel proud of successfully conducting sight translation.
