Students from the Community Health Nursing Department Conduct Field Visit to Cihan Primary School in Erbil

On Wednesday and Thursday, 28th and 29th January 2026, second-stage students from the Community Health Nursing Department conducted an educational field visit to Cihan Primary School in Erbil under the supervision of Dr. Firas Ismael Mustafa, as part of their School Health Program training.

During the visit, students toured the school premises to inspect the physical environment and assess health-related facilities, including the canteen and restrooms. A standardized monitoring form was used to systematically record their observations and findings.

In addition, the school’s assigned nurse provided a detailed briefing on her roles and responsibilities, explaining the tasks she carries out to maintain students’ health and ensure a safe and healthy school environment.

The students were warmly received by Mr. Mahmood Emad, the school principal, who expressed his appreciation for the visit and highlighted the importance of collaboration between educational and health institutions.
