Students from the Department of General Education Visited King Private School
On Wednesday, February 4, 2025, third-stage students from the Department of General Education conducted a scientific field visit to King Private School. The activity was organized and supervised by Assistant Lecturer Dashne Abdullah Saeed.
Upon arrival, the students were warmly received by the school principal, Ms. Shang Abdulqadir, along with the administrative staff. The primary objective of the visit was to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical classroom application. During the visit, the students attended a model English language lesson that demonstrated several modern pedagogical strategies. The subject teacher showed high proficiency by communicating exclusively in English, creating an immersive learning environment.
The lesson incorporated various instructional media, including videos, images, and interactive activities, to clarify complex concepts. In addition, the teacher applied real-time assessment techniques through targeted questioning and classroom tasks. Following the session, Ms. Sarwa led a detailed discussion on the importance of daily lesson planning. She emphasized that a clear, well-structured plan forms the foundation of effective classroom management and stressed that educators must adapt their plans to accommodate diverse learning levels and individual student differences.
The visit concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session in which students and administrators discussed contemporary educational challenges. The supervising lecturer, Assistant Lecturer Dashne Abdullah Saeed, expressed her gratitude to the school’s management, stating that such field visits are essential for students to observe professional excellence firsthand and to understand the practical dimensions of the teaching profession.
