Students from the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy Organize a Scientific Visit to the Kurdistan Parliament

On Sunday, January 12, 2025, a group of students from the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy at Cihan University-Erbil organized a scientific visit to the Kurdistan Parliament.

The students visited the Foreign Relations Department in the Kurdistan Parliament, where they were received by Dr. Yasin Mahmoud, an advisor in the Foreign Relations Committee. He provided a detailed explanation to the students about the tasks performed by the Foreign Relations Department and its role in enhancing the diplomatic activities of the parliament.

The students also visited the Protocol Department within the parliament, where they were welcomed by Senior Advisor Mr. Auni Hamad Ali, the head of the Protocol Department. He gave a detailed explanation of the main activities of the Protocol Department and the protocol ceremonies followed there.

This scientific visit contributed to enhancing the students’ practical knowledge of the parliamentary work system, particularly in the departments they visited, by linking theoretical knowledge with the practical aspects of diplomatic work.

At the end of the visit, the assistant lecturer expressed gratitude to Dr. Yasin Mahmoud and Senior Advisor Mr. Auni Hamad Ali for providing valuable insights to the students.
