Students from the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences Continue Active Participation in Sports Activities Across Their Assigned Schools
Following the launch of the practical training program for fourth-year students in the department, many trainees have taken the initiative to organize and lead sports events aimed at promoting physical activity and teamwork among school students.
Zina Karim Hassan, a trainee teacher at Ishqi Gulani International Primary School, organized an internal football tournament open to all grade levels. It took place in an energetic and highly motivated atmosphere, with students demonstrating great enthusiasm and determination to reach the final stage.
Eventually, Classes 5B and 6A qualified for the final match, which was held in the presence of the school administration and teaching staff. The final round ended with a 2–0 victory for Class 6A, and at the conclusion of the tournament, prizes were awarded to the first- and second-place teams.
These sports activities play a vital role in encouraging students to be active and engaged. They also support students’ psychological well-being and personal growth, helping to foster values such as perseverance, sportsmanship, and mutual respect among peers.
At the closing ceremony, the school administration expressed sincere appreciation to trainee teacher Zina Karim for her dedication and hard work in organizing and successfully completing this important event, wishing her continued success in her professional journey.
The students also expressed their happiness and gratitude to their teacher for organizing such an enjoyable and meaningful sports activity.
