Students from the Departments of Business Administration and Public Administration Participate in Odoo Training Course
On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, fourth-year students from the Departments of Business Administration and Public Administration participated in a training course at Rotana Hotel in Erbil on the Odoo system to further familiarize themselves with the program.
The students were supervised by Assistant Lecturer Raz Azad Jalal during the training course, which was delivered by Trainer Hemin Awat, serving as a functional consultant. At the beginning of the session, he introduced the purpose and importance of the Odoo system before explaining its main components in detail. He later discussed Odoo’s CRM app, describing it as a truly customer-centric tool that helps businesses track leads, generate accurate forecasts, and focus on what really matters. He also highlighted its vital role in managing customer relationships, followed by an overview of the Sales app and its contribution to supporting business operations.
Additionally, Mr. Hemin Awat showcased Odoo’s Employees app, highlighting its role in managing employee information. More than just a staff directory, it serves as a central hub for a comprehensive range of HR features.
Throughout the course, Mr. Hemin Awat demonstrated practical examples of how each module is applied in real-world settings. He emphasized that the Odoo system is widely adopted by modern companies and organizations, helping participants appreciate its relevance. The session provided students with a clearer understanding of how such systems support administrative and managerial work in contemporary institutions.
