Students of Cihan University-Erbil Explored the Geological Museum in Warsaw, Poland
Through their journey to Poland`s sociocultural centers, the students of Cihan University-Erbil, who are currently studying at Warsaw University of Life Sciences, visited the Geological Museum in Warsaw.
On Tuesday (10/12/2024), Mujtaba Sabah Abdul-Hassan from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics and Salman Marham Mohammed from the Department of Community Health Nursing of Cihan University-Erbil visited different parts of the Geological Museum in Warsaw. It is the largest geological institution in Europe, where the students had the chance to see precious minerals such as various crystals, rock structures, interesting dinosaur skeletons, and volcanic rocks. Due to this trip, they expanded their scientific visions. They described the visit as an important learning experience for the development of their knowledge, science, and ability to conduct scientific research.
The Geological Museum is one of the most prominent cultural and scientific centers in Poland and is part of the Polish Institute of Geology. It was established in the early 20th century and has now become an important center of archaeological, historical, and geological science. It is annually visited by a large number of tourists, students, and researchers.
