Students of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences Visit the Department of Sports Education at Shaqlawa College of Education

On Sunday, October 19, 2025, the Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Cihan University-Erbil organized an academic visit for second- and third-year students to the Department of Sports Education at Shaqlawa College of Education.

The visit, supervised by Assistant Lecturer Ahmad Saeed and Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Salahuddin Tahseen, was warmly received by Dr. Zian Dizayee, Head of the Department of Sports Education, Dr. Zaman Salih, and Assistant Lecturer Karwan Rasul Hassan, the Department Rapporteur. On top of that,  the hosts introduced the students to the college’s departments, infrastructure, and academic programs, providing an overview of the study process and scientific activities within the Department of Sports Education.

During the visit, students toured the college’s halls, facilities, and sports installations, gaining firsthand insight into the learning environment and the various sports activities organized for students.

At the end of the visit, the supervising lecturers, on behalf of the Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Cihan University-Erbil, expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the Head and lecturers of the Department of Sports Education at Shaqlawa College of Education. They emphasized the importance of such academic visits in fostering scientific collaboration, enhancing learning opportunities, and promoting joint research initiatives in the fields of physical education and sports sciences between universities and related departments.
