Students of the General Education Department Organized Educational Activities at Sharafkandi Primary School

As part of enhancing the educational experience for second-year students of the General Education Department at Cihan University-Erbil, a group of students, namely Barzan Abdul Jabbar, Mustafa Amer, Haja Zahir, and Niga Nahr, organized educational activities at Sharafkandi Primary School in Erbil under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abd  Aoun, Head of the General Education Department, on Thursday, February 27, 2025.

The school’s principal, Mr. Khudhur Othman Ismail, warmly welcomed the students and provided an overview of the school and its educational programs.

During the visit, the students conducted an awareness-raising seminar on ethics and principles of respect, highlighting the importance of positive behavior in the school environment and its role in shaping a balanced and successful personality. The students also participated in structured discussions and engaging activities that reinforced their understanding of these core values.

Following the seminar, special English-language activities were organized. The pupils participated in interactive exercises designed to enhance their language skills in an enjoyable manner, including educational games and short dialogues to enrich their communicative competence in English. The school students showed great enthusiasm and engagement in these activities, ameliorating their learning experience in line with their passion for education and self-improvement.

At the end of the visit, the students of the General Education Department presented a commemorative gift to Mr. Khudhur Othman Ismail on behalf of the department’s administration, expressing their gratitude for his cooperation with the visiting delegation. In turn, the principal thanked the students for their outstanding activities and wished them all success in their academic and professional journeys.
