Students of the Law Department at Cihan University-Erbil visit the Parliament of Kurdistan Region

The fourth stage students in the Department of Law – Cihan University-Erbil, on Monday 8^th of May 2023, visited the Kurdistan Region Parliament under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer (Ahmed Jawdat Ali). The students were received by the director of the protocol department (Bahmam Mam Khawla Dizi).

They also met Dr.(Biryar Sherko Baban) the counselor of the parliament. Dr.Biryar gave the student information about the history of the establishment of the parliament in the Kurdistan Region and its importance as a legislative authority in making rules that are important for the community.

While the students were in the parliament, they got acquainted with the sections of the parliament and the library, in which they were welcomed by the director of the library, and the students were told that they are welcomed at any time to visit the library to get benefits for reading and for scientific research.

The students also visited the meeting hall and the lawyer ( Bihman Mam Khawla Dzi) explained to them how the sessions are held. This visit to the parliament is beneficial for the students scientifically and practically because they got a lot of information about legislative authority and its components which are important in their course: Legislative Law
