THE DEPARTMENT OF ACCOUNTING ORGANIZED A SCIENTIFIC VISIT TO DREAM CITY

On 24 November 2022 (Thursday), the Department of Accounting organized a field trip to Dream city company in Erbil for third-stage students under the supervision of the Lecturer Dr. Hashem MHD safi.

During the visit, the students met the financial manager of the company, Mr. Zaid. He explained about the company history in details and informed the students on the method and the types of revenues. Instances of revenues are from the services provided to residential buildings such as electricity revenues, related expenses in the company such as salaries, operating materials, and others.

Next, the students met with the company accounting manager. He shared how to record company accounting operations, company income, company accounting categories, customer account records, discounts, company expenses and how expenses are calculated.

At the end of the visit, the students are given the opportunity to ask questions about accounting registration and the practical issues that accountants face in practice.
