The Department of Anesthesia Technology and the Department of Radiological Imaging Technologies Triumphed as Winners of the Cihan University-Erbil Football Championship

On Wednesday, January 22, 2025, two matches were held at the Cihan University-Erbil Stadium under the supervision of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences.

In the first match, the Translation Department team faced the Anesthesia Technology Department team, with the Anesthesia Technology Department team securing a 4–1 victory.

The second match featured the Computer Sciences (IT) Department team against the Radiological Imaging Technologies Department team. The Radiological Imaging Technologies Department team dominated the game, securing an 8–0 victory.

These were the seventh and eighth matches of the first round of the mini-football championship between the scientific departments of Cihan University-Erbil.

It is worth mentioning that the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Cihan University-Erbil, under the supervision of Dr. Zhyan Jamal, organizes annual championships in various sports. The mini-football championship is one of the main events, encouraging participation from students across all scientific departments.
