The Department of Business Administration Organized a Field Visit to the Karawanchi Foods and Soft Drinks Factory

On November 29, 2023, the Department of Business Administration organized a field visit to the Karawanchi factory for soft drinks and juices in Kirkuk for a group of students from all academic levels within the department. The visit was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Azwar Mahdi Saleh.

The first part of the field visit included a series of presentations that introduce the company’s history. Additionally, detailed explanations were provided regarding the existing production lines, as well as insights into the new lines slated for future inclusion. The presentations also highlighted the crucial marketing strategies employed for products within the soft drinks, dairy, and energy drinks categories.

During the second segment of the field visit, an extensive overview of the factory’s production lines was presented, providing insights into the operational mechanisms of each. Students actively engaged by posing several questions, all of which were thoroughly addressed by the factory’s specialists.Top of Form

The Karawanchi company was established in Kirkuk in 1999.The company initiated its operations with the production of soft drinks and later diversified its production lines to include an expanded range of food products. A number of years ago, it successfully acquired multiple international ISO standards, attaining recognition for quality management and food safety. The company also secured various certificates affirming its commitment to production quality and occupational safety standards.
