The Department of Business Administration’s First Initiative Visit to Renew Immigrant’s Schools
On 29-11-2021 and within the efforts of Cihan University-Erbil to carry out charity and community activities, department of Business Administration visits immigrants’ schools. These activities have a crucial role in raising the student’s level of knowledge in addition to encouraging the social work in general and develop the educational institutions particularly. The Department of Business Administration organized an exploratory visit supervised by a number of professors accompanied with students from different academic levels in order to diagnose the deficiencies in a number of schools in Farmanbaran area- Erbil, including Al-Saada Primary School for Girls (600 students), Al-Saada Primary School for Boys (880 students), Al-Tasamuh high school for Girls (550 students), and Al-Tasamuh High School for Boys (550) students.
The visit resulted in determining many problems, including the maintenance of school’s buildings, electrical facilities, broken doors and door handles, insect protection for windows, broken windows, lack of security cameras in corridors and school entrances, maintaining student’s bathrooms, and preparing the necessary stationery including printers and printing paper.
Thereafter, a committee of a group of professors will collect donations and financial contributions from students and a number of other parties for executing the necessary maintenance activities for these schools.
