THE DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN HUAWEI ICT COMPETITION

On 13 October 2022 (Thursday), the department of computer science at Cihan University – Erbil participated in Huawei ICT competition, with the help and supervision of a number of the department’s lecturers.  Firstly, the students were informed to register for the Huawei ICT competition.

A seminar presentation was given to the students on how to register for the contest. Students were also briefed on the competition procedures and rules required for registration. This put the student under the direct supervision of the teacher while registering and filling in the required information. This competition mainly eligible for the field of information and communication technologies.

It is worth noting that this competition is one of the most important competitions held in most countries of the world including the middle east. The prize pool is twenty thousand US dollars ($20,000), with many valuable prizes for the first-place winner.
