The Department of General Education Conducts Field Visits to Support Its Student Teachers in Practice

As part of the practical training program of the Department of General Education at Cihan University–Erbil, a series of field visits began on Sunday, November 2, 2025, carried out by several faculty members at various schools across the city of Erbil.

During the visits, instructors observed lessons delivered by the student teachers and engaged in discussions with school administrators and supervising teachers regarding the students’ performance and classroom engagement. Constructive feedback and pedagogical recommendations were also offered on teaching methods, classroom management, and the effective use of modern educational tools.

Faculty members emphasized that these visits reflect the department’s commitment to preparing a generation of teachers equipped with professional competence and up-to-date pedagogical knowledge. They noted that field training represents a crucial step in developing students’ skills and preparing them for future careers in education.
