The Department of International Relations and Diplomacy Visit the Organizational Office

On Monday, February 10, 2025 A group of third-year students from the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy at Cihan University-Erbil visited the organizational office of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in Erbil on Monday, February 10, 2025.

They were received by Mr. Jiya Mohammed Agha Harki, a member of the Central Committee and assistant to the head of the KDP’s organizational office. Mr. Harki provided the students with a detailed explanation of the party’s vision for the foreign policy of the Kurdistan Region and its approach to dealing with the regional and international environment.

He emphasized the importance of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy and its role in educating the new political generation on key diplomatic methods and how to navigate various political situations and crises faced by active political forces, based on both scientific and practical foundations in political and diplomatic practice.

Mr. Harki also offered several recommendations to the students, stressing the importance of focusing on their academic and research curricula, as this plays a significant role in shaping their future in politics and diplomacy. A series of academic discussions took place between the students and Mr. Harki, who expressed admiration for their knowledge and awareness of political and strategic issues, as well as their ability to analyze and understand these topics.
