THE DEPARTMENT OF MEDIA, CIHAN UNIVERSITY-ERBIL ORGANIZED A VISIT TO THE AL-FALLUJAH SATELLITE CHANNEL

On 17 March 2022, the Department of Media at the College of Arts and Letters organized a scientific visit to Al-Fallujah Satellite Channel which involved a group of first-stage students under the supervision of the Assistant Lecturer Mr. Omar Hassan Fahmi. The objectives of the visit were to expose the students to the ways the channel runs and how to plan a television program.

Upon arriving at the Al-Fallujah Satellite Channel, Assistant Lecturer Mr. Omar Hassan Fahmi and the students were warmly welcomed by the director of Al-Fallujah Satellite Channel Mr. Yasser Sobeih. He began by introducing the nature of the channel and its objectives. He later explained and toured the studios accordingly. The students were also shared steps and tips to manage the tv show accordingly with follow-up to the preparation for the news period, how to prepare for other political and cultural programs, and the meeting with news presenters and political programs to explain their experiences that were acquired through journalistic work.

The visit ended with a thank you note by Assistant Lecturer Mr. Omar Hassan Fahmi to Mr. Yasser Sobeih for his support and information are given during the visit to the first-stage students.
