The Department of Media Visits “Ashti” Library to Expand Cultural Knowledge

On Monday, February 10, 2025, Media Department students from Cihan University-Erbil visited the “Ashti” Library in Erbil as part of a program to enhance their cultural and academic knowledge. The visit was led by Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Jamal Hama Karim.

The students were welcomed by Mr. Ashti Sherko, the library director, who expressed his pleasure at their visit. He praised Cihan University for its commitment to academic excellence and encouraged more initiatives to promote cultural awareness.

During the visit, students explored a wide range of books and resources in Kurdish, Arabic, and English. They had the chance to deepen their knowledge in areas such as media, culture, and history. The students also selected books related to their academic and personal interests, highlighting the importance of a well-stocked library in Erbil for encouraging reading and research.
