The Department of Medical Biochemical Analysis Raises Health Awareness Activity at Capital City Private School

On Tuesday, 22nd April 2025, fourth-stage students from the Department of Medical Biochemical Analysis at Cihan University-Erbil visited Capital City Private School, part of Cambridge Educational Services. The visit was conducted under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Medical Biochemical Analysis.

The students were warmly received by Ms. Lawlaw Ramzi, a teacher at the school. During the visit, they delivered an informative and engaging presentation titled, The Hidden Dangers of Smoking, aimed at raising awareness among secondary school students about the serious health risks associated with smoking. The session included visual aids, real-life statistics, and interactive discussions that kept the students engaged and encouraged them to ask important health-related questions.

This activity emphasized the critical role of health education and reflected the university’s commitment to community engagement and student-led initiatives. It also provided a valuable opportunity for university students to practice their communication skills and apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting.
