The Department of Physiotherapy at Cihan University-Erbil Conducted a Scientific Visit to the Governmental Teaching Hospital

On Thursday, January 30, 2025, second-year students from the Department of Physiotherapy at Cihan University-Erbil conducted a field visit to the Governmental Teaching Hospital in Erbil under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Noora Nasraddin Sharif.

Upon their arrival, the students received a warm welcome from Dr. Junaid Ismail, Head of the Physical Therapy Department, and the hospital staff.

The visit provided students with a comprehensive overview of the hospital’s specialized physical therapy departments, focusing on therapeutic solutions for patients. Special attention was given to treatment approaches involving therapeutic exercises and advanced medical equipment. The students were introduced to state-of-the-art rehabilitation devices and learned about designing personalized exercise programs to enhance patient recovery and mobility.

Throughout the visit, the students engaged in scientific discussions with their academic supervisor and hospital specialists, gaining practical insights into patient care and rehabilitation techniques. This experience bridged their theoretical knowledge with clinical practice, enriching their understanding of modern physiotherapy applications and preparing them for future professional roles.

At the end of the visit, Assistant Lecturer Noora Nasraddin Sharif expressed her gratitude to Dr. Junaid Ismail for his valuable time and the knowledge he generously shared with the students.
