The Department of Physiotherapy at Cihan University–Erbil Organized a BTL Devices Operating Training Course

On Thursday, May 8, 2025, the Department of Physiotherapy at Cihan University–Erbil organized a training course titled, BTL Devices Operating Training Course at the Cihan University Clinic. The one-day session, which lasted three hours, was delivered by Mr. Mohammad Smko from BTL Company, a global leader in physiotherapy and medical equipment.

The primary goal of this training was to provide the academic staff in the Physiotherapy Department with enhanced knowledge and hands-on experience in operating advanced physiotherapy devices. The session offered detailed instruction on the functionality, clinical applications, and safety protocols of various modern therapeutic machines. Through hands-on demonstrations, lecturers had the opportunity to directly engage with the equipment under expert supervision.

In addition to developing clinical skills, the training emphasized the importance of integrating new technology into the educational process. Academic staff were encouraged to apply the knowledge gained during the session in their lectures and lab activities, thereby better preparing students for real-world clinical practice. By familiarizing students with the latest physiotherapy equipment, the department aims to ensure that graduates are capable of delivering effective treatments and providing high-quality patient care.
