THE PHYSIOTHERAPY CLINIC HAS STARTED OPERATING AT CIHAN UNIVERSITY-ERBIL

Within the series of activities and events of the Department of Physiotherapy at Cihan University-Erbil, the Physiotherapy Clinic officially operated at Cihan University-Erbil on 27 February 2022. The clinic provides a comprehensive range of medical services designed to address all types of diagnoses and treatments of diseases related to the nervous system, joints, and fractures. It also offers outstanding patient care, especially in terms of following up on the patients’ cases periodically.

On this special day, it was surprising to see the clinic received a number of patients with backache and neck pain. The patients were clinically examined by a team of dedicated specialists consisting of professors.

Other than the patients, a group of students from the Physiotherapy Department of Cihan University-Erbil visited the clinic under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Ashraf Thoker and physiotherapist Ismail Mohsen. The objectives of the visit were to expose the students to the way the clinic is operating and to introduce advanced medical devices available in the clinic for treatment, vertebrae, and exercise purposes.

During the visit, the stages of care to be followed by the patients were explained to the students from the aforementioned department. This visit was useful to the students, as it provided them with the knowledge they need for their future careers.
