The president of Cihan University Erbil inaugurated a food festival and medical exhibition on World Food Day
The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics staged a fantastic event for World Food Day under the direction and presence of professor Dr. Amjad Saber Dalawi, president of Cihan University Erbil.
Dr. Maison Haideri, the assistant to the university president for scientific affairs, and Dr. Abdul Sattar Abdul Karim Saeed, the assistant to the university president for administrative affairs, along with the heads of the scientific departments, professors, and students at Cihan University Erbil, organized a food festival and medical exhibition on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, in honor of World Food Day the Food Festival and medical exposition at Cihan University-Erbil were opened by Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Dalawi, President of the Cihan Erbil, in conjunction with the Medical Departments of Cihan University Erbil.
Dr. Amjad Saber Dalawi emphasized the significance of such activities during his visit to the festival to demonstrate students’ aptitude and expertise in many academic subjects and to talk with students about their activities, their level of study at the university, and their requirements.
He was happy with the high level of science and teaching abilities that could help them to carry out innovative activities and inventions in the field of healthy food, and for the scientific departments, the president of Cihan University Erbil, while visiting the festival, emphasized that Cihan was the only University at the level of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region who could hold such a festival. While touring these departments, he stressed that Cihan University-Erbil is doing everything in its ability to provide students with the best possible education.
The food festival also gave medical offices, suppliers of medical gear, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) active in the fields of health and food the chance to showcase their goods and meet visitors. Additionally, the festival provides free medical and food assessments to visitors. In order to better serve the community, Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Dalawi acknowledged representatives of clinics, machine manufacturers, and NGOs for their collaborative efforts on behalf of the community.
