The Representative of the Union of Engineers in Kurdistan Region Visits Cihan University- Erbil
On 2nd of March 2022 The University held an introductory session on the professional life in the labor market under the auspices of consultant engineer Salaheddin Fakhreddin, the general director of the council of the union of engineers of Kurdistan for administrative and financial affairs and the chairman of the Engineering Committee. The session was also attended by the heads of departments the academic staff of civil engineering, architecture and communications at Cihan University -Erbil and in the presence of a number of students of the Faculty of Engineering from all departments.
The seminar was for students of the fourth stages. it shed light on the obstacles that are likely to accompany them after graduation and on the other side how to apply for membership in order to join the union of Engineers – Kurdistan.
The seminar also tackled the importance of developing the capabilities and skills of faculty members and students and gradually switching to an educational system that adopts technical certificates according to the need of the labor market and strengthening the focus of training and rehabilitation for the purpose of sustainability in higher education institutions and building partnerships with the labor market to keep pace with the rapid progress taking place in the world.
