The Students of Department of Law Visited the Reform Directorate in Erbil
On Wednesday 2nd of March 2022, the students of the fourth stage in the Department of Law at Cihan University-Erbil, visited (Reform Directorate in Erbil) under the supervision of (Dr. Imad Fattah), the lecturer and the teacher of the subject ‘criminal law’. The purpose of the visit was for the students to get benefit and practice.
After their arrival to the institution, they were welcomed by the general director, then a brief description of the prisoners was explained and how to deal with them in light of internal laws and international conventions of human rights. After that the students asked some questions about the correctional institution and they toured the institution accompanied by the specialized staff to become familiarized with all the relevant matters.
At the end, each student submitted a report about this scientific visit to his supervisor.
