Translation Department Students: A Visit to Advance School to Enhance Their Practical Skills
The Department of Translation at Cihan University-Erbil organized a scientific visit to Advance School on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. With the participation of a group of third- and fourth-year students, it was held under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Imadin Maged Zannrni as part of a series of activities aimed at connecting academic knowledge to professional reality.
The students were received by Ms. Zeina Rasheed, the school principal, and Mr. Bahmand, the middle school principal, who gave them an overview of the school education system and the importance of mastering foreign languages in the field of education.
During the visit, they had the opportunity to attend some English language classes, which helped them learn modern teaching methods and interaction strategies in the classroom. This experience aimed to prepare them for the labor market by enhancing their linguistic and practical skills and giving them direct experience with the nature of work in international educational institutions.
At the end of the visit, they thanked the school administration for hosting them, emphasizing the importance of practical opportunities given to broaden their professional horizons. Additionally, the school administration commended their enthusiasm and positive interaction during the visit.
