Translation Department Students Conduct a Field Visit to Rwanga Organization
On Tuesday, 18 November 2025, the Department of Translation at Cihan University–Erbil organized a field visit to the headquarters of Rwanga Organization. The visit was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Imadin Majed Mohammed and included the participation of fourth-year students.
The university delegation was warmly received by Ms. Sewad Omar, Public Relations Manager at Rwanga Organization, who provided an in-depth presentation on the organization’s mission and areas of activity. She highlighted key programs, including community awareness initiatives, youth empowerment projects, humanitarian support, and various development projects conducted in partnership with local and international institutions. Ms. Omar also discussed several ongoing initiatives in the region and explained the mechanisms through which the organization implements its programs and delivers its services.
During the visit, students attended a dedicated session on professional CV writing. The session focused on standards commonly used by employers, frequent mistakes to avoid, and effective job application strategies. Topics included analyzing job descriptions, preparing for interviews, and understanding what institutions typically seek when evaluating candidates.
The visit also included interactive discussions between students and the organization’s representative. Students engaged in conversations about training opportunities, career paths in the humanitarian and service sectors, and the essential personal and professional skills required in today’s job market.
