workshop on The Need for a CLIL Approach in the Kurdistan Education System

On Thursday , the 8th of December,2016 Asst.lecturer Ary Gazee from the department of Translation held a workshop  entitled ” The Need for a Content & language Integrated Learning Approach in the Kurdistan Education System” with the attendance of some staff members of the departments of English and Translation.The outline of the workshop included a background of the educational system, the main factors of the CLIL approach and ways of applying it.

Mr.Ari discussed the main characteristics of a classroom where essential educational procedures are integrated and applied to ensure successful use of the target language.Implementing the CLIL appraoch was based on the  Questionnaire and feedback of students with different languages and the statistics were highly in favour of applying the approach in all learning environments.
