The President of the University presides over a meeting of the College of Law and Relations staff via videoconferencing technology

On the 7th of April, the President of the Cihan university- Erbil, Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Dalawi, chaired a meeting with the faculty of law and international relations.

At the beginning of the meeting, the President of the University discussed the problems caused by the Coronavirus crisis, and negatively affected the education process around the world. After that, he indicated the necessity of the scientific staff to apply the process of online education if it is approved by the KRG Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Researches.

In another aspect of his speech, the President of the University presented a set of mechanisms and procedures to facilitate the process for the lecturers and students through the modem system of Cihan university- Erbil, and stressed the need for wider participation of students through their e-mails in this process. He also urged the staff the departments to perform their duties in the best possible way, and participate in the awareness campaign launched by the university to combat this virus.

After that, the Head of the Law Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Pshtiwan and the department’s lecturers talked about their efforts towards the electrification of the department’s education, and the mechanisms that they adopted to solve the students problems related to implementing this system.

At the end of the meeting, the head of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy, Assistant Lecturer Mr Amanj Ali and the lecturers of the Department presented the steps they took towards connecting students to the moodle system, participating in the university’s awareness campaign to fight Coronavirus, and expressed their willingness to start their scientific activities through Technology electronic systems, as soon as possible.
