The College of Health Technology hold its first online meeting under the preventive measures taken by the KRG

On April 7th 2020 Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Dalawi the president of Cihan University-Erbil Chaired a meeting organized by the head of the Nutrition Department (Dr. Salih Mustafa Salih).
The meeting was the first online meeting for the College of Health Technology attended by the Head of all the four departments and all academic staff members of the college including: Department of Nutrition, Physiotherapy, Community Health and Medical Biochemical Analysis Department via Online video conference using Google Hangouts meet to preserve the safety of faculty members and in compliance with the preventive measures adopted in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
The aim of the meeting was to discuss implementing the decisions that have been made at the University’s council meeting earlier on April 4th 2020 regarding E- Learning system and providing lectures electronically to students and provide the maximum benefit to the students. the meeting was focused on how to encourage all students using the Moodle and Hangouts Meet applications as a preparation process. it was also discussed how to make workshop, seminars and other activities via online.video conference.
It was also discussed raising the awareness of the public and encouraging the students to involve in the awareness campaigns for the prevention of the COVID-19 through the publication of scientific articles, giving seminars and posting preventive activities through social media to serve the community.
In conclusion, all the academic staff showed that they are ready to start the process in order to provide all technical assistance and technical consultations to ensure the success of the educational process for the academic year 2019-2020.
