A delegation of teachers from the United States of America visits Cihan University-Erbil

To facilitate coordination and offer assistance, a number of American teachers visited Cihan University-Erbil. They expressed their astonishment for the level of students’ knowledge.

     First, the delegation of American teachers met Assistant Professor Dr. Maysoon Al-Haieri, the Vice President of Cihan University-Erbil for Scientific Affairs, and discussed a number of common items during the meeting.

     In another part of their visit, the delegation accompanied with Assistant Lecturer Polla Tahseen Mohammad, the head of English Department, visited several parts of the university. Meanwhile, they attended a ‘free discussion session’ among some students. They stated that the English level and debate etiquette of the students were really admirable

     After listening to the students’ discussion, the delegation participated in a discussion with English Department lecturers and students. During the discussion, the delegation expressed their willingness to hold some advanced English language courses for Cihan University-Erbil students of all departments.

     The students of Cihan University-Erbil were deeply contented with the visit of the delegation and expressed their eagerness to participate in the aforementioned course. They also showed their appreciation that the delegation of teachers from the United States has chosen Cihan University-Erbil to offer them some courses.
