A delegation visits the Department of General Education, Cihan University – Erbil

On Tuesday, November 23th 2021, Dr. Ahmad Abd-Aun, head of Department of General Education, and assistant lecturers Dashne Abdulla Saeed and Saman Babakr Watman received a visiting delegation led by Mr. Kawa Mohammed Qadir and a group of fourth-year students from the English department of the Faculty of Basic Education- Salaheddin University.

The program of the visiting included a number of activities which focused on the exchange of opinions and experiences between students of both departments and a panel which was held by the students. Later on, time was given to Mr. Kawa, head of the visiting delegation, to talk about the importance of teaching and learning English Language. In addition, he urged student to sustain the continuous development of skills and self-development.

The visiting delegation was then taken on a tour to get to know the various units of the university. At the end of the visit, the head of the visiting delegation thanked the head of the department and the faculty for the reception and hospitality, and he invited the department to visit them in a near future.

It is worth mentioning that this visit is one of the programs of the department of General Education to exchange visits with other departments of private and public universities in order to exchange ideas and develop English language kills.
