A Field Visit for Department of Physiotherapy Students to the Red Cross Center for Prosthetics

Within the series of activities and events of the Department of Physiotherapy of Cihan University – Erbil, third-stage students of the aforementioned department, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Thoker, visited the Red Cross Center for Prosthetic Limbs on May 10, 2023 (Wednesday). This visit was a part of the practical aspect of these students in this field.

The visit included viewing the various departments of the center, including departments Manufacture of prostheses, patient evaluation, and medical rehabilitation department for patients.

Such field visits are important in developing the practical side of the students and getting them acquainted with the latest devices used for medical rehabilitation and the types and materials of prostheses used for amputated limbs.
