A New Group of Students from Cihan University-Erbil Embarks on a Study Abroad Program to Poland
Three students from Cihan University-Erbil have departed for Poland to complete a study course at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.
In a continuance of Cihan University-Erbil’s collaborative efforts with international institutions, aimed at fostering scientific exchange and student training, and in light of the Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) signed with the Warsaw University of Life Sciences for the academic year 2025-2026, on Monday, September 29, 2025, the second cohort of Cihan University-Erbil students departed from Erbil International Airport for the aforementioned university.
This group consists of three students: (Ibrahim Zaki Mohammed Salih), a second- stage student in the Physiotherapy department; (Marwan Mohammed Ahmed), a second- stage student in the Nutrition and Dietetics department; and (Mohamed Ali Baktish), a third- stage student in the Medical Laboratory Analysis department. They are coming to complete a study course at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, as part of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between both universities for the academic year (2025-2026).
Last week, these students were officially sent off to Poland by Professor Dr. Amjad Sabir Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil. Prior to their departure, during a session attended by their families, the University President offered a series of scientific, academic, social, and cultural advice and recommendations to the students. The group has now arrived in Poland and is scheduled to commence their specialized study course in the coming days.
