A poetry symposium for a number of famous Kurdish poets
Within the cultural season of the department of Media, under the auspices of the head of the board of trustees, Dr. Nawzad Bajger and with the attendance of the university`s president, Dr. Fuad Shareef, Cihan University-Erbil held a poetry symposium for a group of poets on Sunday 02/28/2016.
The event was started with a speech by the head of the board of the trustees who welcomed the guests and thanked the organizers of the event as well as promised to print the poet`s literary publications.
The participated poets were the following:
Nawzad Rafaat, Dr. Wrya Myhammed, Chnar Namiq, Sarkawt Rasul, Yusuf Latif, Dr.Rizgar Ranjaro and Namiq Hawrami.
At the End of the event Dr.Muhammed Khidir the head of media department thanked the presidency of the University for their support for holding such an event.
