A Professional Training Program for Blended Learning
Dr. Ahmed Abd Aoun, Head of the Department of General Education/ College of Education/ Cihan University-Erbil, participated in the “Professional Training Program for Blended Learning”, which was set up by the Center for Multimedia and E-learning / the University of Technology, from October 24th to November 9th, 2020.
The course included multiple training activities on the uses of educational platforms to activate the use of Blended Learning, with the participation of more than 500 virtual trainees on the (ZOOM) platform. The course topics were divided into an introduction to Blended Learning, its advantages and its integration with other learning strategies. They have also learnt how to create a class on Google Classroom and use Google Meet in virtual classes, how to create an educational channel on YouTube, and how to administrate electronic exams. The course provides professional training to attendees to use the (ZOOM) platform and how to prepare the interactive educational video, as well as many topics related to the use of electronic technologies in the teaching and learning process.
