A Scientific Visit to Maternity Hospital
On Wednesday 7th of April , 2021 students of second year in Biology (Medical Micobiology) Department have conducted a scientific visit to the Maternity Hospital in Erbil City.
They visited the diagnostic laboratories of the hospital including the Histopathology Unit, the Microbiology Unit, the Biochemistry Unit, the Serology Unit, and the Phlebotomy Unit. The students were accompanied by Assistant Professor Dr. Muhsin Al-Ghizzi and Dr. Suhayla Hamad.
It’s worth mentioning that the hospital medical staff have explained and clarified all the procedures used in the laboratories that are relevant to the students’ education.
