A Seminar on how to teach vocabulary in English

Department of Business Administration held a seminar on how to teach vocabulary in the English language. Assistant lecturer Suhair Salahuddin Yahya included an explanation of the basics of teaching vocabulary with three main tips: the use of visual images, gestures and procedures, and the presentation of the lexical relationship, guessing and forecasting, examples and helping students to remember, making  sure that students make their own words and use the system of recording words and they allocate new words so that learners know how to test themselves, and choose the way they prefer to learn. The seminar was attended by the staff of the Department.
