A student from Cihan University-Erbil visited the National Museum in the Czech Republic
On Monday, February 3, 2025, Hajar Mohammed Ali, a physiotherapy student at Cihan University-Erbil, paid a scientific and cultural visit to the National Museum in Prague while taking a course at Warsaw University of Life Sciences.
The museum is considered the largest and oldest one in the Czech Republic. It was founded in 1818 by Caspar Maria von Sternberg, It houses over 14 million items related to nature, archaeology, art, music, and literature.
During her visit, Ms. H.M. Ali explored different parts of the museum and learned about societies from prehistoric times. The ancient artifacts deepened her understanding of early civilizations, while medieval art and intricate handicrafts displayed the creativity and rich cultural heritage of the past.
Hajar also spent time in the Natural History section, where she discovered more about the diversity of life and its evolution. Overall, the visit was a rewarding experience that helped her connect with history, culture, and the natural world.
