A student from Cihan University-Erbil visits a charity organization (Na Fali)
As part of his participation in the summer course at the University of Lodz in Poland, a student from Cihan University-Erbil had the opportunity to visit a charity organization.
Helmet Mustafa, a third-year student from the Department of General Education at Cihan University-Erbil, is currently in Poland with a group of university students. During his time there, Helmet visited a charity organization in Lodz, where he had previously volunteered for several years. During the visit, he had the chance to meet with officials and reconnect with some of the employees who had worked alongside him in Iraq back in 2014. For this purpose, they discussed the continuation of charity work.
In 2014, when Iraq was invaded by ISIS, a large number of people were displaced from various parts of the country. During this challenging period, numerous international organizations arrived in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq to provide assistance to those affected. Na Fali, a Polish charity organization, was among the groups that conducted several charitable activities. At that time, Helmet Mustafa, who is now a student at Cihan University-Erbil, dedicated his time as a volunteer, serving the victims and displaced individuals alongside this organization.
