Architectural Engineering Department Lecturer Participates in the Closing Ceremony of the Intelligent Construction Training Program in China

On July 15, 2026, Assistant Lecturer Lana Shahab Ahmed from the Department of Architectural Engineering at Cihan University-Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq, participated in the closing ceremony of The Development of the Intelligent Construction Industry for Belt and Road Countries training program, held in the Beijing Hall of the Jurong Hotel in Fuzhou, China, under the China Aid program.
The ceremony commenced with opening remarks from Mr. Josef Yu, Director of the training program, followed by a speech from Mr. Cao Luxiang, Deputy Director of the Fujian Provincial United Nations SSC Network Demonstration Base. The speakers emphasized the importance of international cooperation, knowledge exchange, and strengthened partnerships among Belt and Road countries to advance the intelligent construction industry.
During the ceremony, Assistant Lecturer Lana presented the Cihan University-Erbil commemorative plaque to the training program organizers as a symbol of appreciation for their outstanding efforts in organizing the program and promoting international academic collaboration and professional exchange.
At the end of the ceremony, Assistant Lecturer Lana was awarded a Certificate of Completion in recognition of her successful participation in the training program. The ceremony marked the successful completion of the program. It also reaffirmed the commitment of Cihan University-Erbil and the Kurdistan Region to strengthening international academic collaboration and fostering knowledge exchange with the People’s Republic of China.
