Architectural Engineering Students Visit Park Avenue Project for Landscape Learning

On Wednesday, 4 February 2026, a group of fourth-year students from the Department of Architectural Engineering at Cihan University–Erbil conducted an educational field visit to the Park Avenue Project in Erbil as part of their Landscape course.

The visit was organized under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Goran Rashid Fattah. The students were welcomed by Engineer Kashan Rashid Fattah, who provided an overview of the project and explained its main landscape design concept and site organization.

During the visit, Engineer Kashan Rashid Fattah described the project’s landscape components, including hardscape and softscape elements, pedestrian pathways, green areas, and site furniture. He also clarified the implementation process and construction stages of the landscape works.

Throughout the visit, Engineer Kashan Rashid Fattah emphasized the importance of landscape design for architectural engineering students. He explained how well-designed outdoor spaces enhance environmental quality, improve user experience, and contribute to the overall architectural identity of large-scale development projects.
