Biomedical Sciences Department Students Conduct Health Awareness Activity at Grand Majidi Mall
On Sunday, 15 March 2026, third- and fourth-stage students from the Department of Biomedical Sciences organized a health awareness and screening activity at Grand Majidi Mall under the supervision of the Head of the Department.
The activity aimed to raise public awareness among mall visitors about healthy practices during the fasting period. The students provided guidance on the proper way to break the fast and how to gradually resume normal eating habits, particularly during the first days of Eid al-Fitr.
As part of the initiative, the students offered several free health screenings to visitors, including random blood sugar testing, blood pressure measurement, and blood group determination. Participants also received professional explanations and health advice based on their test results.
In addition, the students collaborated with Floria Diagnostic Laboratory, which supported the activity by providing free Complete Blood Count (CBC) and lipid profile tests. The laboratory also offered discounts of up to 50% on other laboratory tests for visitors to the mall and the Biomedical Sciences student booth.
