Biomedical Sciences Department Students Organized a Health Screening Event for Elderly Residents
On Thursday, April 4, 2024, a compassionate group of students from the Biomedical Sciences Department at Cihan University-Erbil, under the supervision of Dr. Ali M. Hussein, A.L Hero Ismail, and A.L. Mohammed M. Hussein, offered a helping hand to elderly residents of a local care home. The students conducted a series of essential medical laboratory tests, all completely free of charge.

Under the guidance of their lecturers, these students eagerly volunteered their skills and time to perform critical health assessments for the aging population at the care home. The tests were designed to monitor vital health indicators and provide insights into the residents’ well-being.
